OUR PROCESS

MGET Our process of collecting UCO

MGET is dedicated to playing its part in the journey towards a sustainable future. One of the key ways in which MGET contributes to this mission is through its collection and recycling of UCO.

UCO is a harmful waste product that, if not disposed of properly, can have negative impacts on the environment and public health. By collecting and recycling UCO, MGET is reducing damaging environmental impact and transforming it into an environmentally friendly green fuel – Biodiesel.

The process of collecting UCO begins with reaching out to various restaurants and kitchens in the UAE. Our team of experts works closely with these establishments to establish a collection schedule that is convenient for them and ensures that the UCO is collected in timely and safe manner. The collected UCO is then transported to state-of-the-art recycling facility loadedwhere it is processed to remove any impurities and transformed into Biodiesel.

The end product of our recycling process is high-quality Biodiesel is manufactured & distributed exported to different parts of the world. Biodiesel is a renewable, clean-burning fuel that can be used in vehicles and industries as a petroleum product. The use of Biodiesel reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90 percent compared to conventional diesel, making it an important step towards a greener future.

Why you should not reuse cooking oil:

Bad to the environment:

Reusing cooking oil contributes to the problem of oil waste and pollution.

Increase risk of cancer:

Reusing oil can increase the formation of harmful compounds such as acrylamide, a known carcinogen that has been linked to an increased risk of cancer.

Fire Hazard

Used oil can become highly flammable, making it a fire hazard in the kitchen.

Digestive problem:

Consuming oil that has been heated repeatedly can cause digestive problems such as bloating, diarrhea, and nausea.

Poor taste:

Overused oil can develop a rancid taste and smell, which can negatively impact the flavor of your food.

Reduced nutritional value:

Cooking oil loses its nutritional value each time it is reused. This means that each time you reuse the same oil, you are consuming fewer vitamins and minerals.

Formation of harmful compounds:

Reheating oil multiple times can cause the formation of harmful compounds such as acrolein and other aldehydes that can damage your health.

Increase risk of heart disease:

Reusing cooking oil increases the number of trans fats in the oil, which can increase the risk of heart disease and stroke.
